Venetiae Obscurae is a series of live music events featuring dark sounds in Venice, it is organized by Rechos Records & Promotion on a monthly basis and hosts nationally and internationally renowned themed bands and DJ sets by Numa Echos, sometimes paired with special guests.

The fifth event, the second of the new year, will take place exceptionally on Friday, February 6, in Sant’Apollinare (Rovigo) in one of the most evocative “secret locations” in the area, a “Barkessa,” the ideal location for a dark evening dedicated to live music and DJ sets.

Special guests for the evening will be The Foreign Resort, a Danish band with a dark new-wave and post-punk sound, formed in Copenhagen in 2009. For over a decade, The Foreign Resort has dedicated itself to perfecting a sound that explodes with the raw energy of post-punk and immerses itself in dark shades of melancholy. Their work stands out for its richness and emotion, embodying both light and dark atmospheres charged with emotional depth and immediate impact.

Opening the show, Numa Echos, a leading artistic presence at the festival, will perform live from his electronic rock repertoire, heavily influenced by industrial, dark wave, post-punk, and trip-hop sounds.
